Default VM Console Not displaying

I have three VM's setup on my XEN x86_64 server. Two are SLES 10 SP2, while the third is a SLES 10 SP2/OES 2 system. On the SLES/OES system the console was working up until a few days ago now when I try to access it I get the following, "The console is unavailable", but only on that system. I have rebooted several times, the only adjustment that was made was setting up an NTP server. The others I have been able to access properly, is there somewhere I need to check to see why it does not display? When I try to access it remotely my desktop just displays a gray screen basically I can see the mouse moving but no display. Any ideas? What are other methods that I can use to access the remote displays on VM systems? At work we use VMware vSphere client to access our VM's (VMware ESX), I have been starting to do some research about Platespin but I am not sure about the cost involved. Thank you
