SLES 11, Xen and NW65SP8 - Partition

Hello!

I'm having some problems adding a partition to my NW65SP8 installation in Xen. Install went fine and the server is running smoothly. Now I want to add a partition to this server. I've got 2.8TB available on the physical server.
I've tried formatting it as EXT3, Reiser, EXT2 and XFS filesystem, then tried to add it to the VM using VM manager in Yast but it wont accept it.

Can anyone tell me the correct way of adding a partition to a existing VM in XEN?
Sorry for being a Noob, but i hope someone will help me shed a light on this.
