Steps for Manual Windows 2008 R2/Windows 7 VMDP Install:
Prepare:
1. Use regedit and create all the keys in this path as necessary:
\HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\xenbus\Par ameters\Device
2.Cd to the directory containing all the files for the desired OS, e.g.
cd \VMDP-WIN-1.5_05\win2008\x64\
3.Run 'pvctrl no_disk lan' from a command prompt.
Install Xenbus:
1.Control panel: Add Hardware
2.Select the Install the hardware that I manually select from a list
(Advanced)
3.Select System devices
4.Have Disk
5.Enter the directory where all the files are.
6.Select SUSE Bus Driver for Windows
Install Xenblk:
1.Go to Device Manager
2.Right click Unknown device
3.Update driver software
4.Browse my computer for driver software
5.Ensure the directory where all the files are located is indicated
6.The 'Next' button will automatically select the correct driver (SUSE
Block Driver for Windows)
Install Xennet:
1.Run 'pvctrl disk lan' from a command prompt.
2.From the Device Manager right click the SUSE Network Driver for
Windows
3.Update driver software
4.Browse my computer for driver software
5.Ensure the directory where all the files are located is indicated
6.The 'Next' button will automatically select the correct driver (SUSE
Network Driver for Windows)
