mtscon, let me speak in plain English since ataubman seems to be unable to, without throwing in some twisted double talk. The answer is NO, it is not supported as thoroughly on VMWARE as it is on XEN. And this is just my opinion, but I much more enjoy working with VMWARE Server than with XEN. VMWARE is just a better implementation period.

I'm not sure what you mean by equivalent; NetWare will cease general support in March 2010 regardless of whether it's virtualised or not. Until then it's just as supported under VMware as it is under Xen, if that's your question. The limitation is that if the problem turns out to be in the host we can't help you with VMware but can with Xen, of course.
