Combining GW Archive Files

I have a user who had archives set up and working. One of our techs did
not know she already had her archive path set up and told her to put in a
different path. Later the user realized that she could not see email from
before the tech told her to change the path. I changed the path back to
the original archive and was asked by GW if I wanted to merge the two
archives. I said yes and everything appeared to work okay (archives from
the second directory were moved into the original directory). However,
she still cannot see anything from prior to the path change. Is there
anyway to get GW to see these messages? I can see files in the directory
dated from before the path change.
