Default Re: Study material availability

Hello,

We understand the concerns you have with the self-study manuals as they
currently presented in the Technical Subscriptions (i.e. online only, in
HTML format, via the Subscriber Portal); we try to make that very clear on
our website and in our marketing documentation, and we regret that you did
not realize those are available online only. This is not something that
will be changing however.

Let me explain.

Novell's self-study kits are the definitive training resource on Novell
products and they can be purchased for several hundreds of dollars each.
We were thrilled to be able to include them all in an online fully
searchable version, in several of our technical subscriptions and we think
that even online, they are a great asset to our customers as they represent
hours of free training on Novell products.

The reason that we are not able to make them available offline, or make them
downloadable or printable is that we must protect this valuable content and
ensure that only those who are entitled to them are able to access them.

We apologize for the inconvenience and hope that you understand the reason
behind the restriction.

Best regards
