Novell 5 & Windows 98 Login

Greetings,
I have an old Netware 5 and Windows 98 network. Last week a user logged into
another users computer with his username and passwaord (not the regular user
of the computer's password).

He was looking through files and clicked an exe which messed up the
computer. I reinstalled the NIC and Netware client.

Now when the normal user logs in, it as slow as molasses in February. Hangs
up on shutdown and somethimes on boot. IE6 cannot connect to the web but FF2
can connect to the web.

When I log on as the other user who messed up the computer, everything works
just fine.

Is there some way that I can get the computer to work acceptaably with the
two different users/logins?
