Windows Firewall Issues
In our Network, the windows firewall must be on. I am installing the zenworks suite (7.1) on workstations. I have already completed the installation on 100 computers (the total will be around 2300). When running the installation files I open ports 1761 and 524. Approximately 10% of the computers with completed installations are not showing up in the console. I have gone back to these computers and checked to make sure that the ports are open, which they are, nevertheless reinstalled the entire package, no change. When I disable the windows firewall completely, the machine immediately show up in the console. However, turning the windows firewall off is not allowed in this institution. Please help. I am a student, completing a work term, so I am still learning, please keep this in mind when posting replies. Thank you so much.
