Dell Optiplex 740 serial numbers

Hi,

We have just started to use ZAM. We have it importing all our Mac and
Widows machines perfectly. However I have noticed the New Dells we have
just set up, fail to import a serial number. Does anyone know why they are
not importing these details? Do we need to add these manually or is their
another option?

Also, how do I add different departments etc? Thanks for your help. The
product looks great. Just need to learn how to use it! Been a year since I
did the course work......
