Install options for ZAM MANAGER 7.5
Hi it was my understanding that the ZAM Manager console (not web console) could be installed at any workstation as long as it could connect to the database path (hence the permisions on the share) is this true? I have remote assitants that I want to grant acces to the MANAGER, but I dont want them to have access to the whole server with ms remote desktop. I have been told by a novell engineer that the manager can only be installed an run on the server where ZAM is installed and that my assistants must use the web console, is this true?
When I try to install the MANAGER at my ws (after authenticating and mapping drive) and then connect to the remote share and authenticate to the DB is comes up with error 203
I cant find much about the install location and options for the MANAGER.
