Adaptive Agent Removal

I have one ZCM SLES10SP1 server in my ZONE. It is attached to a remote
MSSQL database on a Windows 2003 server with the adaptive agent on it. I
am having communication failures on the agent on the 2003 server so I
deleted it from devices and tried to uninstall it via add/remove programs
selecting "remove from local installation only". It fails and then the
ZenworksUninstall.exe process will not stop. I have to end the process.
I need to know how to uninstall this. Can I manually "rip" it out?
