It would also be possible to move the agents to a new Zone (Server). Just run zac unr to unregister with the current Zone (use -f if the Zone no longer exists). Then register with the new Zone using zac reg
http://newzone. This keeps you from having to uninstall and reinstall the agent. I have seen documentation on the ZenworksUninstall.exe that say you can use it to move the agent to a new zone but I have not been able to get the comman line switches to work doing that. See the attached file for the command line options for Zenworksuninstall.
Of course this does not change the version of the agent. But if you need to upgrade the agent version just set that up in the new zone to push the newer version automatically when the agent registers.

Right played around with a test install of zcm10sp2, installed the agent to my workstation and several other lab bunnies including a server or 2....of course learned from zen7, set the option not to allow users to uninstall the agent. (mmmm).....and of course i trashed the lab server, and now i cant uninstall the agent on the managed devices?...to install new client from production server?...
