Default Email messages won't stop

After we upgraded to Zenworks 10 our email notifications for our contract management stopped. It's been down for about nine months. Two days ago I was some how able to reconnect the email notifications of contracts that are due to expire. Except for now, they won't stop. We've received over 20,000 emails. Where are the emails stored (which database) and how can we purge them or delete them.
