Default Does Asset Management this?

Hi,
We currently use ZDM7 (moving towards ZCM10.2+) for Desktop Management.
We need to get some Asset Mgmt and I figured ZAM is 'full product lifecycle management' product.

But we need to be able to record events againt assets. So if PC-12345 has a faulty power supply, we can see that this is the 3rd thing to go wrong with it in a month. Can this sort of information be recorded in ZAM? Licence and Contract mgmt is fine, but if I want to actually manage the Asset itself, this would seem like a simple requirement.

or am I just not seeing it??

Cheers.
