ZEN image policy trying to do the zen7 way

We are looking at implementing ZCM to leverage the Satelite functionality. In our existing Zen7 environment we are using imaging policies to install all our apps as addon ZMGs on top of the base image. I understand that not too many people used this method in the past, but it worked extremely well for us. I can not see how you can do this in ZCM because you have no controll on what the add-on is suppossed to do. In 7 you just specified the force option then created the image then added it to your policy ta da. In ZCM I can see how you create an addon and think I know how you can associate it with the base image, BUT how do you force it to install?
