An Updated ZENworks-Registration.War file was released a few moments ago
that should fix your -28 issues.
TID 7004308 has been updated with details
I do not suspect it will address the issue of the incorrect Serial Number
being sent by the client, but everything should not register cleanly despite
the invalid SR.
The transmission of an invalid SN is likely a client side issue, but the
server side code should not be able to handle that.
You will need to continue to work with your support person to track down why
the wrong SN is being transmitted.
