Default Not installed = not patched?

I've recently turned on my ZPM feature and so far I'm loving what I'm seeing. I've never used ZPM before, but this has just made my life so much easier.

Anyway, my question is how to exclude systems that don't have a software package installed from being counted as a system that isn't patched? I'm seeing certain programs such as Firefox, VMWare, Citrix Clients, etc... that may be installed on a group of systems such as all workstations, test systems, laptops, but in ZPM they are showing as not patched on systems that never have nor should have those programs installed. Meanwhile, I also have applications like Safari, iTunes, Adobe CS3 patches that do identify that there are only a handful of systems that have those applications installed and show the correct status between patched and not patched.

I hope I explained that in a way that makes sense. Thanks for any advise!
