Default WOL and Power Saving Modes

My company has started a green initiative this past year and one of the topics of discussion is computer power. I've been working with ZCM 10 SP2 and have been asked to look at Standby and Hibernation. My problem is that when I put a system in to either of these modes, I am unable to "Wake up" the device without physically touching the machine. This presents a problem for me when I am working on an after hours deployment. WOL works perfectly from a normal shutdown. Is this characteristic of the WOL feature of ZCM, something going on with my system, or is there a work around to wake a system up from Hibernation?

Not sure if it would be related but whenever I try to WOL a laptop (dell) through a docking station it also won't turn on, but if I plug in to the onboard NIC directly WOL works fine.
