Device name remote not working.
I know this was on the forum a while ago but I thought I'd start afresh.
I can remote a workstation with it's IP address but still can not with it's device name. Error is "Failed to connect to server(Device name.domain~50)". My remote management policies are working, devices registered and I can ping -a (Server IP Address) and ping (Servername).
The talk about the adaptive agent being a 'DNS resolver' apears to be the issue and if I can sort it out I think alot of my other issues will get solved. Still having problems registering machines which may be related. Have applied the registration-war file.
Anyone with similar problems?
