Can you uninstall certain components of MS Office through Applicaiton explorer?

I'd like to know if there's a way to uninstall certain components of
Microsoft Office through Application assignment. I have Office 2003 for
example and I'd like to uninstall the Outlook component.

I've created a MST file with that component specified not to install and
if I deploy Office on top of a pre-existing installation, it will just re-
install but that component is not being removed.
