Convert image from gho to zmg

I'm hearing conflicting reports.....
Can a ghost image with the gho extension be converted to
a zenworks image with the zmg extension so that it can be used as a
Zenworks Image object?
Also,
Can an application object (which runs ghost.exe w parameters)
and is associated to a workstation be image that workstation?

I'll presume NOT to mix technologies is the ideal solution.
We just need an elegant way to deal with 100+ ghost images
