Dell D800 drive errors

I'm trying to use the ZfD 7 imaging on a Dell D800 laptop.

This has worked for me in the past with the ZfD 6.5.1 imaging cds.

The client doesn't have many of these D800s, so I don't know if the
ZfD 7 stuff ever worked on the D800s.

dmesg produces this error:

hda: dma_intr: status=0x51 { DriveReady SeekComplete Error }

ide: failed opcode was: unknown
end_request: I/O error, dev hda, sector 0


I tried the original 6.5 bootcd on this and it gives the same error.

When I start an install of XPSP2 it recognizes the drive and can write
to it.

Anyone with any ideas?
