Not seeing my SATA HD

I was able to get my GateWay 685-E to hit my 7 ZEN server but it doesn't
see my SATA HD. I did make the boot disk using the ISO that was loaded
with my ZEN 6.5 server. Would that be the difference? I mean the reason I
went to 7 was for the SATA support. Any ideas? Thanks
