PXE imaging and e-dir replica's

Is an e-dir replica required on a NetWare based Zen Imaging system. Tried to fix my issues with Workstation automatic imaging with PXE booting by reinstalling ZDM 7.0 SP1. Now none of the workstation will even see that there is work to do. At least before it most times found work to do, but then gave the wrong commands. No it does not even see that there is any thing to do.

In the ZIMGDBD.log file I see a lot of -603 errors. It is like the Imaging service is having an issue talking with e-dir.
