Imaging machine with image safe data but no eDir object.

I have several laptops with image safe data that were previously imported
into the tree but no longer are represented by a workstation object because
of a workstation removal policy. How can an automatically image these
stations if imaging server policy will not apply due to the image safe data
on the pc?
