Default WKS Import Policy fails after tree merge

Scenario:
Netware 6.5 SP6
eDir v8.7.3.9
ZfD 7.0.1 SP1 HotPatch 2

Issue:
Workstation import/removal fails after merging two eDir trees.

Details:
Mefore the merge, both trees had their own working wks import/removal.
Ater the merge, the two different import/removal services shall still exist,
importing via two different import servers, into two different wks contexts respectively.

The services from the maintained tree still works ok,
but the services from the tree now gone fails.

Here is a typical statement from the SYS:ZENWORKS\ZENWSIMP.LOG:
*********
Apr 17, 2007 12:08:42 PM No import policy found.
Apr 17, 2007 12:08:56 PM javax.naming.AuthenticationException [Root exception is com.novell.service.session.InvalidDomainNameExcept ion: SKOLE_TREE; check root causes]
*********

The expression SKOLE_TREE should now read HAMAR_TREE.
HAMAR_TREE is the only existing tree after the merge.

Deleting and recreating tjhe Server Policy Package does not help.

How can I revive the merged wks import in that server?
Is the "InvalidDomainNameException" caused by some editable java parameter somewhere?
