Default Bizarre sysprep error

I currently have a sysprep scripted image process I use across all our
sites.
However, I am now lifting the same process from the network for
disconnected imaging operations for users that are never in the office the
bootcd and script.s works without a problem. The problem occurs after
applying the base image and relevant add-on images it goes into the
unattended mini setup process and then throws back a window titled "Device
installer error" Windows could not load the installer for CDROM, DiskDrive
etc etc then if I press "Enter" it will reboot Contact your hardware
vendor for assistance.

So here comes the interesting bit this is the machine the base image
process was done on as it is the oldest type of hardware by using the same
base image on a desktop unit no problems runs all the way through

Thanks for any help
