HP nc6400 Laptop PXE booting

Were getting in some HP nc6400 laptops now and when PXE booting zfd7.0.1hp3all I get is a black screen. I can use a 7.0.1 (no hp) boot CD and it boots fine into imaging - is this a known issue?
