IBM Lenovo R61 type 7733 boot issue

We have 150 new ibm Lenovo laptops, R61 type 7733 with an Intel 82566MM
Nic.
We are using Zen 7 sp1 hp3 and are able to boot from cd but no network
card is found. Updated to hp5, created new cd from that bootcd.iso and
the error does not come up, goes correctly to bash prompt, but still no
connectivity. When we look at img hardware settings it shows no network
