Default workstation does not boot after partition restore

Hi all,

I have just restored the system partition of a workstation using a larger
partition size than that of the original image taken (8GB -> 15GB). The
partition restored successfully, but now the system won't boot and it just
hangs at a black screen.

I restored the partition using the following commands:

img pc1 NTFS 15000
img pa1
img rp $proxyaddr $proxyaddr/image/image.zmg a1:p1

I’ve loaded ultimate boot CD and had a look at the C: partition
looks – everything appears ok. I also tried a defrag but still no
boot.

Is it possible that the MBR is not created properly when only a partition
is restored?

Does anyone have any ideas????

Thanks
Jeff
