Optiplex 755

I can not get the manual imaging from the bootCD to work for our Optiplex 755 (s). I am running Zenworks 7 Sp1 Ir1 Hp1

I have tried installing the HP1 for Zen 7 sp1 ir1

I have already tried editing the isolinux.cfg file on the bootcd by adding

kernel linux
append initrd=initrd ramdisk_size=67584 insmode=e1000 newid="0x8086 0x10bd,e1000" vga=0x0314 splash=silent mode=2 CDBOOT=YES showopts

I just am linux stupid and have tried following the directions at
Cool Solutions: Helping the ZENworks Boot CD Recognize a new NIC
without success

If I choose manual on the cd, and for boot options type newid="0x8086 0x10bd,e1000" it works fine but when I inserted the line above in the isolinux.cfg it doesn't load the NIC... where in this file or in another... and exactly what syntax should I use?

This is so incredibly frustrating to have to go through at least once a year it seems....... any suggestions?
