Default In need of a variable...

I am in need of desperate help. I have been reading books on BASH and researching any and every forum with no luck. I have a ZEN7HP6 imaging DVD we use to image machines that are offline or when PXE imaging is not possible. We are deploying Office 2007 to users but since we are a school many machines are less than 512MB of RAM and Office 2007 isn't worth the time with any less, so we want to do Office 2003 in this instance. I need to find a variable that will allow me to pull down the correct add on image based on your memory. Does any one know if we can access HWINFO or know of a way to create a variable for the systems memory? Any help will be greatly appreciated. I do not normally like to trouble others but I am running out of time and I cannot think of any other places to look.
