Image server failed to write to image file

Image gets to 75/80% and then displays "image server failed to write to image file." There's ~40GB free disk space on the image server. We just have a base installation of Windows XP on the Optiplex, so I can't imaging the image would fill the entire image server disk...
Anybody else running in to this?
