PXE in a Static Environment

I would like to set up Zen Imaging to use PXE in my office, but we have implemented a static environment. I realized what was going on when I noticed that I was getting a failed to get ProxyDHCP offers when I was trying to boot to PXE. Does anyone have any suggestions for how to implement a PXE environment in a Static IP environment? Implementing DHCP is an option, but as long as it would stay only in the PXE environment, and not follow my workstations in to their normal work environment.
