Master image for PC and Laptop

Hi,

I just finished a master Windows XP SP2 image for all our desktop using sysprep.

Now I want to use this image on our laptop too. The most problematic thing about switching from desktop to laptop is the HAL. There's a way to make an Zenworks image that can update the HAL when needed. I know there's a .vbs script called HalDetect that can change the HAL in the sysprep.inf but you need WinPe... any equivalent can be done with zen ?
