Default Could not open network socket on some machine

In some of the rooms we are imaging, a couple systems are getting "could not open network socket" error. All systems are identical and hooked into the same switch, but only about half of them are connecting. We did fix a couple by removing the secondary network card and using the onboard card.

When I run cat /etc/resolv.conf, the systems that are working show our DNS addresses and the "bad" systems do not. I'm guessing this means that they non-working systems are not getting a DHCP address? Is there anyway I can force the IP and DNS settings onto the non-working systems?

The hardware configuration screen within the Zen imaging screen shows the same information for all of the systems also.
