PXE across VLans
HI folks, we have just split up our network and are having a hard time getting PXE to work. It works fine when the devices are on the same lan as the server but wont work across lans. It throws the PXE-53 no bootfile name received.
We have added helper IPs to the switches for both the zen server and the DHCP server.
Our servers are clustered, however DHCP and PDHCP are not on the same node so I don’t think option 60 needs to be set.
As far as I can work out the machines appear to get an IP from DHCP but fail to receive the further options from PDHCP.
Any ideas ?
