Imaging freeze on Panasonic Toughbook CF-30

Has anyone been able to get imaging working on this laptop?

I've tried ZENworks 7 Desktop Management with SP1 IR3a and still the laptop freezes with a black screen when booting from the imaging CD.

There was another thread about this where someone said Panasonic tech support provided them with a special firmware update fixing the problem, though Panasonic tells me there is no firmware update.
