Yes I fully understand that the Windows OS by design will use the local SAM database as the authoritative credential store for pass through authentication when logged in with local credentials. I am sure I read somewhere that the Novell Client had a feature to add a UPN but this must not be the case? Thanks for the info regarding the net use command method I was looking for a more elegant way of doing this but will have to use this method if there are no other options?
