Default WOL - Right click in C1

Hello!

When I try to wake up machines it works great if they are in the same subnet. But if they are in different subnets i doesn't work. I downloaded a little WOL-utility and it worked perfect.

After that I wanted to check WHY there was a difference. I used Wireshark to check the differences:

The utility
119 5.739670 XXX.YYY.ZZZ.A 255.255.255.255 WOL MagicPacket for Dell_CC:DD:EE (00:AA:BB:CC:DD:EE)

Zenworks 7
4283 26.224015 XXX.YYY.ZZZ.A XXX.YYY.ZZZ.255 WOL MagicPacket for Dell_CC:DD:EE (00:AA:BB:CC:DD:EE), password

At first i thought it was the password-stuff that messed it up but it was the mask: 255.255.255.255 vs XXX.YYY.ZZZ.255

Then I "stumbled" over zenwmSubnetMask which can be found in C1, properties of ws, "Other". The value of zenwmSubnetMask was 255.255.255.0 so I changed it to 0.0.0.0

And after that it was no trouble remote wakeup the machine in another subnet. As soon as the machine was up it changed the zenwmSubnetMask back to 255.255.255.0

Is it supposed to work like this?

Best wishes!
Jan
