Nod32 and nal 3.2

Zenwork 3.2 and 2.7
Antivirus Nod32 v2.51

I'm having a strange problem here. We recently purchased nod32 because
mcafee would not support windows98 any longer. But as we installed it,
we realised that it causes windows 98 to crash at shutdown. Applying
the patches from microsoft had no effect as disabling network scan and
shutdown scan in amon.

We isolated the problem to a few process mainly point32 and application
launcher. It would seem that nod32 prevent nal from properly closing.
Anyone as a solution ?
