NDS Rights for Help Desk
I want to claw back some of the rights that my Help Desk have been granted
lately. When I remove the supervisor rights to all of the containers in my
tree they can no longer remote control a workstation.
The error that is received is:
'Console user does not have rights to Remote Control the target workstation,
or the target workstation has been reregistered elsewhere.'
When I grant supervisor rights back to the container everything works.
I am running Zen3.2 for RC and other desktop components and Zen4.0.1 for AWI
and Inventory. Most servers are NW6.0 or 6.5 running eDir8.6 to 8.7.3.4. I
do have plans to migrate to Zen7 in the near future.
Does anyone know exactly which rights are required to perform RC. I would
like to created a Remote Control Role and assign the Help Desk users and
needed.
