Dell Latitude D810 network card not recognized

We just switched from IBM to Dell machines here. Both manufacturers use
Broadcom 5700 cards. I updated linux.2 with a newer driver that works for
the latest IBM workstations but I still can't find a driver that works
with the Dells.

On the Broadcom site there are linux drivers available but it appears they
have to be compiled. I'm no linux expert and have no idea how to begin
making/getting a driver for this. I tried the Forge.Novell.com site but
those files were not successful for me either (they are April 2005).

Does anyone out there have a compiled BM5700.o file for the latest version?
