Does ZFD slow down computers?

I am thinking of using Zen more but 90% of my users are laptops, mostly
tablets. Until the release of the core 2 duo, tablet laptops need all
the help they can get for power due to all of the extra tablet software
running in the background. If I installed the ZFD agent on all of my
laptops, would this slow things down at all? I plan on using the remote
control policy, inventory, and being able to push changes down to the
laptops.
