Inventory stops if WS has 4.91sp4 client
We are running Zen for Desktops 4.0.142 at the workstations (WinXP fully patched) along with the Novell 4.91sp3 client (patched as well). One month ago
I upgraded a handful of workstations to the 4.91sp4 client. That's all I did.
Things seemed fine, Zen was pushing out apps etc. I just noticed that as of the
date I installed the upgraded client Zen stopped inventorying those workstations. To prove it I took one of the workstations and un-installed the client and installes the 4.91sp3 version back, and like magic the inventory
started working again. Luckily I had documented the install date of the updated client so it made it easy to see that the same exact day I upgraded the client was the last day that the inventory ran on those PC's.
Is there a patch or something that I'm overlooking to solve this problem?
For now I'm holding off upgrading the rest of the clients in the office until I figure it out.
I'm open to suggestions....
