Hi
Can you help please.
When I try to remote control a pc with dual monitors, the remote session is successful and I can see the desktop. However, I cannot see any actions I undertake e.g. opening a folder, expanding the Start Menu, opening My Computer icon etc. I can move the mouse around the screen OK but nothing more. (The remote user does see these actions being undertaken on the desktop).
To see each action I have performed on the remote pc such as clicking/expanding the Start Menu button I have to minimise then maximise my remote session or disconnect/reconnect the session.
If I set the pc to single monitor mode I can remote the pc fine and work normally.
I have tried changing the colours on the pc I want to remote to 256 or 32bit true colour, the screen resolution from 1024x768 to 800x600, the Screen refresh rate from 75Hz to 85Hz but no change.
I have several of these pc's on the network.
Is there a setting or fix for this which would help me out?
The pc's are Dell GX270's with a dual monitor graphics card in each (NVIDIA GeForce FX 5200) which connects to 2 Dell 17" flat screen monitors via its dual monitor cable. We are running WinXP Pro SP1 on the desktop with Novell client 4.83SP3 (tried 4.9SP1a but still the same) and Zen3.2 on the desktop. All the correct drivers are installed on the pc.
Any assistance would be appreciated.
Phil
