Default Re: External Endpoints and Policy Distribution

Andrew,

Yes, you need to republish updated policies by saving the modified policy, going to Publish Tab, then click on "Publish". This will re-publish the updated policy to the same objects (users/computers) as previously assigned. This is mentioned in the docs: http://www.novell.com/documentation/...q.html#bbk0try

You can force policy download by clicking on "check for policy update" on the agent or you can wait for the next polling cycle to occur (12 hours by default).

Hope this clarifies,
Daniel

Champion!

Thanks Daniel! that makes a lot more sense =)

So If you update a policy does that policy need to be re-published?
And should i be able to right click on the agent and "check for policy
update"?
