External Endpoints and Policy Distribution

Hi Guys,

I Just want to get some clarification on the Policy Distribution service and external Endpoints. If there is an external user and i wish to push updated policies to that end point is this possible?

I have setup a testing lab and can get policies pushed out to my machines with the network fine.

(my understanding is that it picks up the policies from https://managnentserver/authenticati...erservice.asmx If you cant connect to this page you can not get updated policies?)

The external computer can see and talk to the Policy distribution server but yet i cant push out updates...


Is this a miss understanding of novells digram or does something else need to be configured?
