Performing the minimal installation makes the server a SLES server and
will have it show up as a SLES server. You should not delete the
sles-9-i586 platform. The system can get the oes channel because it passes
the test---having the /etc/novell-release file.

If the channel conditions are met, the systems should be able to subscribe
to them.
