Default Re: mirroring SLES-9 via zenworks

I believe that is exactly how it works. You have to add Yast package sources to yoru /etc/ximian/ config files. There is tips for this in the docs on Novell's site. I don't have time to familiarize myself with the process presently.

Someone else chime in?

All:

I have zlm 6.6.1 up and running on sles9 and servers on the local network
can activate and register just fine.

My problem comes when trying to mirror sles-9 sources (i386 & x64). Looking
at the examples and trying to search online leads to mostly dead-ends.

I did find a "novell cool article" which shows how to mirror oes. This
requires us to add 'updates.novell.com' to services.xml. Now I am not sure
if this is the case with SLES-9. I did try however, and my activation key
failed... I am using the activation key I got with Zenworks... that's
probably incorrect?

I have sles-9 registered and pull updates from YaST regularly... would much
rather just mirror the whole OS to better manage our network.

Any help at all would be GREATLY appreciated. Just any pointer in any
direction :)

Thanks,
Robert.
